ITA: Il Parco Giovanni Paolo II, conosciuto come ex-Mandorleto è la più importante area verde del quartiere Fonsarda ed è situato tra via dei Donoratico e via Figari. Questo spazio verde, riaperto alcuni anni fa dopo esser rimasto chiuso diverso tempo, ha cambiato vari nomi, fino al 2005, quando i componenti della commissione Cultura della Circoscrizione 4 proposero al Comune di ribattezzarlo Wojtyla. Al suo interno è possibile trovare diverse specie quali Ficus Retusa, alcune Jacarande, Carrubi, Palme, Siliquastria e Sofore, Cipressi, Pini, Olivi e Tamerici.
Nella parte più alta v'è un laghetto che rende il parco un po' più vivo.
