This cache will take you to a seclusive place near the top of Bladon Heath.
You will meet four giants hiding in the woods and guarding a circular Iron Age hill fort enclosed by two double ditches, locally known as Bladon camp. The site was partially excavated in 1988 by the Oxford Archaeological Unit and the discovery of Early Iron Age pottery at the bottom of a ditch confirmed that the site was constructed and occupied between circa 600BC and 50AD. The area used to be open land before being afforested between the two world wars.
