Geocache Description:

Stash is located in the Juniper Dunes east of the Tri-City area. This is one of 30 caches in Washington that were placed during the first year of Geocaching (5-3-00 to 5-3-01) and so is part of the Washington History Challenge series of caches.

EraSeek walks the dunes

Suggested Driving Directions: From Pasco drive east on US 12 to the junction with the Pasco Kahlotus Highway.
Turn left (north) onto Pasco Kahlotus Highway and drive 5.6 miles to Peterson Road. The junction is at a small crop duster airstrip and grain silo.
Turn left onto a wide gravel road and continue about 4 miles. The road has many washboards on it.

The road is rough but definitely passable in dry weather (and if it is not dry, just wait an hour, this is the Tri-Cities).
Just take it slow and enjoy the ride. It's a great area with lots of trails for motorcycles and ATV's.
