My earliest Christmas memory is the year I got my first bike. It was blue. I was the only kid who did not want snow that Christmas. 
My brother spent many hours teaching me to ride my new bike and it was not long before I was off exploring my world on it. 
It is still my favourite passtime over 40 years and many great bikes later.
There are many entrances to this park, but the two listed have off road parking and picnic tables. The Karawatha Discovery Centre has a big open area, heaps of picnic tables, toilets and a very cool play area. Both car parks are only open during daylight hours. I do not recommend either area at night.
