Geocache Description:

Rte 28, Alton New Hampshire

Park at the "SCENIC VIEW" area on Route 28 in Alton, NH. The fence was put up to keep partier from going into the woods, just walk around the end of it> The cache is a short walk in the woods. It is now a standard military ammo box, the gladware experiment did not work out. The cache is well covered with forest litter. The nice part of this cache is the veiw and that there is a clearing directly overhead so when you get close you will have plenty of signal. The bad part is sometimes the parking area is littered with the refuse of a teenage party. Bring a small trash bag if you want to help out mother earth. DO NOT park at the "REST AREA" which is about a mile away. Both areas are clearly marked.
