The Friends of Walton Hall Park have asked us to help out at Walton Hall Park to give it a spruce up so i thought of CITO.
It's quite a big park, so we shall try our best!
If you can bring your own gloves, it would be appreciated, but we have access to litter picking sticks.
The Friends will be providing the bulbs, trowels, bulb planters, binbags, litter pickers and have a secure compound to dispose of the rubbish, to be collected by contractors to the council, Glendale.
There will also be a new cache to be found on the day!
Meet at the Car Park co-ords at 11.00am, looking to finish approx 1.30pm
The local sports centre have toilets and a vending machine, but you can bring your own food for a picnic afterwards or to munch on as you CITO
UPDATE! There will be a water urn with tea, coffee and biccies, along with a donation tin towards the cost
The Friends of Walton Hall Park a fully constituted park group registered with Liverpool City Council and the National Federation of Parks and Green Spaces and have, so far, planted over 1000 flowering bulbs and wild flower seeds over the last couple of years.
