There is plenty of parking at the Kawarau bridge reserve, by the bungy jumping. A nearby information board details the various sections of the trail.
The (film canister) cache is located on a small cattle stop, down low. There is an electronic track counter on the post - this is NOT part of the cache and is not to be interfered with. Please try and prevent unnecessary trips back and forward through the beam, which will impact on the utilisation statistics gathered. If you are interested you could mention the counter reading in your log.
