As all of these buffaloes have been purchased as part of the
fundraiser, they have all moved from their original display
location! There were originally 150 buffaloes!
We have been able to track down a few, now we need your help!
The initial point will take you to the Burchfield Penney Art
Center, but you won't find a buffalo there!
The funds generated by 'Herd About Buffalo' were put towards
research and patient care programs at Roswell Park Cancer
Institute, and continuing art education programs at the
Burchfield-Penney Art Center.
Please note that these buffaloes now belong to private
individuals and companies; they are generally displayed outside of
their establishment. We did not run into any problems while
photographing them. The owners we did bump into were pleasantly
suprised someone wanted to see their Buffalo - as it is why though
bought them! As always, please use your common sense.
To complete this cache, you must perform one of two tasks:
- Take your photo with three of the buffaloes listed below
(replica imposters don't count!), and post them with your log. If
you don't have a camera, you can email us the name and a
description of the buffalo you've found to dekaner@kkf2a.com or j-ra@kkf2a.com. (Each buffalo
originally had a plaque on it's base with this information.)
- Find a buffalo that is not on our confirmed list, take a photo
with it and post the photo and coordinates in your log!
