It's Time for the 3rd Annual
" Rambetta's Regatta "

Join us for a Saturday morning
" 5 mile tour "
as we cruise the waters of
Baytown's Beautiful
'Cedar Bayou'.
Parking and launch facilities are available at the
Roseland Park Boat Ramp
'Meet up', visiting, 'bug' swapping and story time, will be at 08:30am and we will launch at precisely 09:00 am
for a scenic group-guided tour 'up the bayou'.
For those unfamiliar with the area,
it's a great place to view the hidden beauty of Baytown
and see a variety
of birds, turtles, fish and an occasional gator or barge.
So load up your raft, canoe, kayak or boat
and join us for some fun.
*** SAFETY FIRST ***
While on the bayou, please follow all aspects of water safety. Parts of the bayou are deep and can be quite choppy.
ü Wear a life vest
ü Wear sunscreen
ü Bring plenty of water
ü Yield to large vessels
ü Observe all rules of water safety
ü Respect the private property of residents along the waterway
ü Be careful
ü Have fun

An "after-event" Hot-Dog Picnic will be held at the conclusion of 'The Tour'.
All participants are invited to continue the fun as we eat, visit, swap 'bugs' and continue sharing of our favorite caching stories.
For the "after-event" Picnic:
v I will supply the dogs, buns, condiments and paper goods.
v Please bring a side or a dessert to share. (picnic food/drinks can be dropped off at the launch site and will be waiting for you at the picnic area.)
v BYOB - (Bring your own choice of beverage ) .
After lunch we will car-pool/shuttle back to Roseland Park to pick up the vehicles (or you can paddle back if you like).
Be sure to log a "WILL ATTEND" so we don't leave anybody behind.
