Geocache Description:

It’s cold and dark in deep space. It’s essential to have a plan for whatever may come your way. Especially if you are going to save the galaxy.  It’s also a good idea to have a proper mix tape to keep you company. Mine was a gift from my mother and it’s one of my most precious possessions.

Answer a few simple questions about the first ten tracks on my mixtape to solve the code word that will lead you to the galactic coordinates of my treasure trove. Be sure to rehide it the same way you found it so that all galactic explorers can enjoy the search as you did. And by all means trade fairly. Don't just grab all of the orbs and collectables and keep them for yourself.

If the artist’s name is Bill-H, David-I, George-J, Thomas-K

Track 5: is a single written and performed by blues guitarist Elvin Bishop. He didn’t sing the vocals as he felt his gravel baritone was the wrong sound for this one. It peaked at #3 on the Billboard 100.

Were the vocals performed by:

Danny Thomas-N Dave Thomas-D Mickey Thomas-L Rob Thomas-R

Track 6:  By far the longest song on my mix tape clocking in at over six minutes. It’s primarily a vocal song using innovative loops of the singers instead of instruments for the background sounds.

What is the letter in the band’s name?

C=F, L=M, R=O, T=X

Track 7: Was the first single performed by this 60’s family pop group to be released by Motown. It’s been called one of the best songs of the 60’s and ranked #121 on Rolling Stone’s greatest songs of all time list.

What is the number in the group’s name?

5=O 4=R 3=T 9=F

What is the color in the band’s name?

Blue=Y Green=H Orange=C Red=O

Track 9: Is the only song on my mixtape performed by an all-girl band and a punk one at that! It became that group’s signature song, and while the group didn’t have much success in the USA they were stars in Japan and elsewhere. However Joan Jett got her start in this band and did go on to a Hall of Fame career as one of the top female rockers of all time.

What was the name of the all-girl band?

Runaways=L Go-Go’s=F Bangles=T Four Non Blondes=S

Track 10: This song about a relationship that takes an unusual turn was the last #1 Billboard Hot 100 song of the 1970’s.  The singer is also a prolific songwriter and stars like Barbra Streisand and Dolly Parton have performed his tunes.

Rupert=S Roderick=M Bartholomew=T Flynn=W
