This Grade 1 listed church is notable for a tall tower and short nave and much of it dates from the 15th century. A church has stood on this site for many centuries but much of what you see was rebuilt around 600 years ago. The chancel screen dates from the 15th century as do many of the impressive gargoyles that channel water away from the tower.
If you visit the churchyard you will see a preaching cross that is reputed to have been damaged during the Prayer Book Rebellion of 1549.
The cache is very close to the churchyard but is not inside it. You are looking for a small plastic tube
