Geocache Description:

Access the hiking and biking trails on Burke Mountain from here. Don't be frightened by the sounds from the nearby gun range - they help you orientate yourself when you're higher up the mountain. You know you've gone a long way when you no longer hear the 'Bang! Bang!' Chances are you will hear the trickle of streams wherever you go - there's a lot of water on Burke!

This cache is not far from the end of Harper Road. There is plenty of parking, though on a busy summer's day you may have to walk up the road a bit, as lots of hikers and mountainbikers access the trails from here.

The cache itself is a typical lock'n'lock. As we placed the cache at Easter, we left a few Kinder egg toys in there (but not the chocolate!). There is a small First to Find gift - a tape measure that has an attached little pencil and notepad.
