Geocache Description:

Now that I've finished my third full year of caching I want to do some tribute caches to thank some of the cachers who have helped get me to this point. Each cacher is, was, or should be somewhere on my Top 20 list of whose caches I've found. Some I've had the privilege to meet, others not yet. I'm not doing these in any order, so here's one of them...

Parking is available next to the posted 'trailhead' coordinates. Light bushwhacking right now, just follow the game trail back. Added an extra half-star for terrain anticipating the summer folliage. Cache is NOT accessible from the interstate. Bring your own pencil. There's a tag waiting for the FTF.

One of the first things I did when I started caching was to work on a 'consecutive days with a find' streak.  Working on the north side of Indy, Parm's caches along the Monon Trail helped keep the streak going for quite a while. That winter we had temps of -15 F with wind hills even worse. Needless to say, Muggle traffic on the Monon was rare. One of the first times I met Parm in person, I was suit-caching (yes, dressed in a business suit) along the Fall Creek trail while Parm rode by. He stopped biking long enough to confirm I was a cacher and gave me some friendly pointers about the cache I was hunting, since the coordinates weren't quite right.

Through caching, I've learned that we share a few common interests: hockey and a specific musical group - They Might Be Giants. He has several caches paying tribute to various TMBG albums. I've incorporated one of their songs into this cache. I have a secret to tell... you'll be able to see the container from the posted coordinates, but which is it?

Who watches over you? Thanks, Parm!
