Floyd Lamb State Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Las Vegas. There is an array of wildlife here and these are some of the birds you might see around the lakes. We went in May and there were so many new babies, but I am sure anytime of the year is just beautiful. Lots of picnic areas, horse stables, fishing, caching of course, or just sit and enjoy. Bring a little bread, seed, dog food, the birds love it. The fee is 6 dollars a car, but I have heard they might be lowering it and also you can buy an annual pass. Military and Veterans get in for free with ID.
