Geocache Description:

We placed this cache at the gateway that leads to our beautiful Stuarts Point village and surrounding scenic areas.

The mountain that you can see here is Yarriabini which means 'koala rolling', and was called this for millenia by the traditional custodians of the region. It was known in the past as Mount Yarrahapinni, a European interpretation of the spelling. This area is part of an important cultural Dreaming story and very significant to the Dunghutti, Ngambaa and Gumbaynggirr Aboriginal people.

There are many forest drives through the mountain where you will see an amazing mosaic artwork at The Pines picnic area and a lookout over the entire valley across to South West Rocks and Trial Bay.

This one shouldn't be too difficult to find.
