Welcome to the Knobby Knees Loop hiking trail! This city park has a paved walking trail but if you prefer a little more rugged hike, then this is the place for you. Local authorities have plans to develop this trail, but it is a work in progress. This area is not far from the Trinity River and home to wildlife such as birds, snakes and wild hogs. When the river is high, this trail floods.
The trail head (see pic) is just past a2zman61's cache called "Ordinary". See the waypoints for coordinates.
The small lock-and-lock cache is placed in an open, sunny area. The trail passes through 2 gates (see pic)...don't worry...it's not tresspassing to go through the gates. The cache is hidden just before the second gate. Beyond the second gate is where the trail gets flooded and less developed.
