This regular sized cache is located in a nice little area north of us!
3-15-13: Update. The original's hiding spot has rotted out completely which thereby exposed the cache for all to see. After almost 11 years in hiding, the original container has gone missing. Replaced with a regular size and changed the cache size attribute to match. This could possibly affect someone's challenge that they've worked on. Hollar at me if so and i'll see what i can do about putting it back the way it was.
7-5-10: This area has changed significantly over the years and is not the nice, well mannicured place it used to be. But since this is one of our first caches to place, we've decided to keep it going. The cache utilizes the original container that we placed back in 2002 and is hidden in the same exact spot. Getting to it is where the challenge lies these days and we've changed the difficulty rating to reflect this..
Original description:
Sometimes this gets to be a busy place so I used a small container to house the loot. It is hidden well and is not easy to spot. Was hard to get a good GPSR reading but these will get you close. You wont have to cross the little creek if you start off from the right area. Hints start vague but the more you read, the easier the cache will be to find. A compass would be helpful to take advantage of the first hint!
Ive placed J. Wayne the Texas Toad travelbug here to begin his journey. Hopefully he will get to see alot of our great Country and maybe even get to travel overseas. Also, there is special prize for the First Finder! This is a rare item that is hard to get a hold of, especially in our area.
Other items initially placed are as follows:
A scratch off ticket
Ice cream gift certificates
A silver bracelet
Eyeglass repair kit
and various coins from different countries
Please bring something small if you want to trade and be sure to sign the logtag, then enter your log at GeoCaching.com... Hope ya'll enjoy!!!
