Welcome to Team Tameside Tornado’s first series of Geocaches based on obscure super heroes and super villains around Swallows Wood.
Some great views of the reservior and is a nice round walk around the waterworks and some nice old historic sites. Unfortunatley part of the sceneic route had to be demolished due unknown circumtances.
This is a series of 8 traditional caches placed around Swallows Wood ranging from micro up too large, with more will be added in due course!
We’ve tried placing them in different locations with varying difficulties and terrains to make the round trail a bit more exciting and fun.
There is parking at the start of the reservoir near the fishery but it is limited.
