Thanks to Jeebs for the history lesson! "Allenwood was originally named Uniontown, but eventually they noticed there was already a Uniontown, PA, so the name had to be changed. It was named in honor of a gentleman named HP Allen, who owned a general store in Uniontown, and who donated land to the railroad, and to home plots. The Uniontown cemetery is the only reminder of a time long past, and the early settlers in the area. "
In 1946, Memorial Day Services were still held in this cemetery - they were held specifically at one grave, which is something I have never seen before -

You can drive right up to this cache, if your vehicle has good clearance. The road is a little bumpy and rough. Or you can easily park in the lower part of the cemetery and walk up the hill.
