Geocache Description:

While checking on some of our caches for regular cache maintenance we decided, while driving, and listening to the radio that a series was needed. After a fantastic group that has gone through many changes over time. Have fun!

Van Halen 5150 is the first of four albums to be recorded by Sammy Hagar who replaced David Lee Roth. This album contained a number of fantastic hits including "Dreams". Although the album 1984 was a smash hit 5150 actually far surpassed it in record number of sales. 5150 ironically is the studio number where Eddie Van Halen recorded music at the time. In California, the number 5150 actually references a code for a mentally disturbed person, wow, ironic huh? This album started the argument between David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar fans; which side do you lean on? Although the debate has gone on for a fair number of years a devout fan has learned to appreciate both.
