Holding these CITO events is our way of saying, "Thank you" to the Tulsa Parks system for allowing us to use their parks as our geocaching playground. This year's CITO event will take place in a Tulsa County park, Haikey Creek. We will be spreading out and picking up trash throughout the park.
Just remember;
1. You will get dirty.
2. You will get hot, thirsty and tired (if you are doing it right).
3. You will get a digital souvenir from geocaching.com!
4 And you will absolutely have a blast doing it, I guarantee.
Arrive at 9 am for sign-in, instructions and signing required release forms. We will break up into groups and spread out throughout the park.
You will want to bring:
One or more pair of gloves, extra water, snacks, rain gear, protection from thorns and poison ivy.
You may want a camera, too. Dirty cachers at work are very photogenic.
At 11:30 we will gather at one of the park shelters (TBD, and Waypoint added) and share our experiences and discoveries.
* Anyone who whole like can stay and share in a pizza celebration. We will collect $5 per person and order in pizza to eat about noon.
