Geocache Description:

A park and grab on the Mitchelstown to Kilfinane road.

The bridge was the site of a battle during the 1798 rising but is now a peaceful trailhead for walks over the Darragh Hills. There are 7 or 10 kilometers options with a wonderful beech wood.  Across the bridge there is another recommended walk along the Keale river to Ballyorgan.

The building at the cache site was the local creamery and, as such, was the center of activity for the local area.

The cache is a magnetic nano so byop and only use initials in the log
