Geocache Description:

Atwood Lake Park is home to many different species of wild animals.  Along the shores you may see bald eagles and osprey soaring above the water, turtles sunning themselves on branches, or white-tailed deer grazing on grass.  At this geocache location meet a live turtle, snake, or toad, or discover the plants and animals of Ohio.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy nature!  You are looking for a small lock-n-lock container.

Atwood Lake Park charges a gate fee of $10 per car, Memorial Day through Labor Day.  Show your “EXPLORE THE SHORES GEOTRAIL”  passport and have the gate fee waived.

Placed with permission from the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District.  Please cache during daylight hours only and park in designated areas.
