Visiting hours for the locks and surrounding garden is 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. year-round. The fish ladder is open 7 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. year-round.

I love to visit the locks on my lunch break as there is always something fun to see. Heron's nest up in the trees part of the year, while salmon swim the fish ladder at other times. Other critters you might notice are seals, geese, and birds called the Common Goldeneye.

Be careful you don't drop this little cache in the water! :)

Stealth is definitely required for this grab as it can be really busy here!
