So, just find the two big stumps on the north side of the trail (away from the road). The cachy one is the one closer to the trail. At LLU 3041, we use this stump as an example of how nice some stumps can be for standing on. We like to stand on this stump because it gives us just a little bit of extra view, you know, so that we don't have to jump so much to see further. Plus it's pretty flat. We make our apprenctice lumberjacks cut to this flatness proficiency before they can promote to journeyman lumberjack. Also, there's a cache on this stump, which makes it pretty cachy. If you find the cache, you can spread the log out on the stump to sign it, because the stump is so flat. It's a pretty amazingly flat stump for it's size, I'd say it's a 14.5-14.6 in flaticiance. Hey - and this is pretty cool - guess what kinds of shirts lumberjacks wear?
