HISTORY: I need to do further research. All I do have on Fisher School is that it was located here (see waypoint) by 1874 and was here as late as 1936. The schoolhouse was attended by students living in Lapeer and Macomb Counties and was surrounded by orchards. Some of the trees in the area are from those orchards originally planted in the 1800's, cuttings and seeds. I don't have photos of the school yet, however some old images of the orchards can be found with the Almont Historical Society.
