Pine Haven (Hutt Valley) Traditional Cache

A cache placed along a forestry road in the hills above Pinehaven. Access to this cache can be reached from several trailheads. There are some very large pine trees on this road. Hopefully this one will remain standing.

A cache placed in a haven for pines. Requires a bit of a scramble to reach the GZ. Watch out for brambles in the undergrowth. Great views up here in some places. Currently trees are being felled at the Avro Road end of this track. I suggest you avoid entering this area during normal work hours. The cache is now a pill container within a jam jar. It should remain in place even if the host is lost.
