enduroryda: Unfortunately the Doris T. Shaw Wildlife Sanctuary is no more. The bench and all signs have been removed and now no trespassing signs have been heavily posted. Such a bummer to lose such a great cache in such a special area.

A great little nature hike along the Rail Trail.....fun spot to bring kids along.
The Original PIG flew the coop. Cache has been replaced with an interesting cache container good enough for small trades and TB's. This is a great spot if you like mountain biking. The trail head you will be looking for is easily found in a clear go around through boulders. Here you can start your cache hike. Please Note:This is not a snow friendly cache. This Cache is located in the Doris T. Shaw Wildlife Sanctuary. You will get to this beautiful secluded location by a short hike down the "Old Airline Trail". Each stage will direct you down the right trail to the final. You will have to bushwack through a rough trail the last 500 ft. Check out the beaver damage on your way to the cache! Be careful walking under some of those trees! Parking coordinates are N42 00 532 W071 48 555. Please take care in re-hiding the cache and logging in and out Travel Bugs. ** Please CITO...this precious area appreciates your help!! ** Please be sure to hide cache containers as you've found them. Thank you!! Remember to bring bug spray in the summer. Wear your day glow orange during hunting season!!
