Geocache Description:

A little known or visited nature reserve just off the highway that needs some love so come along find some geocaches and enjoy this beautiful bush area.

Welcome to Hughes Creek Hill Reserve
This reserve has been here as long as I can remember. Not far from the cache you will find a quarry that was used to mine stone to line the east and west distributor irrigation channels that run out of Nagambie Lakes just near the Goulburn Weir.

Access to the Quarry
You can drive to within 200 meters of the cache with a 2 wheel drive vehicle and from there it will be a 200 meter walk, it's sort of a drive by with a 4x4 vehicle. No, its not at the top but you will probably go there to enjoy the views.

The Cache
A 1/2 liter(ish) plastic jar located where you should make sure you hold on.
