Located in the picturesque township of Ballarat, Canadian Creek is a tributary of the Yarrowee River. The Canadian Creek path follows the Canadian Creek from Central Ballarat to Mount Clear through wetlands, native plantings, bushlands and housing developments. Along the way, take your time to enjoy the sights of Lake Esmond, Poverty Point or Sovereign Hill before continuing onto Mount Buninyong where you will enjoy stunning 360 degree views of Ballarat and surrounds or immerse yourself in the history and architecture that Ballarat has become so well known for.

To begin your journey to becoming the 'Canadian Code Cracker' make your way to the posted coordinates (a suitable parking area is listed in Additional Waypoints). From the posted coordinates, walk 152m at 234 degrees. At this point, use your torch to locate the first in a series of 14 reflectors. White reflectors will lead you on your way to the next reflector. Yellow reflectors will do the same, however you must locate a small PVC tube (approx 10cm long) with a clue which will assist you with cracking the code at GZ. Once you reach the red reflectors, be sure to locate the small PVC tube (same as the others) with the final coordinates. At GZ, can you become the 'Canadian Code Cracker'?
