Not much is known about this school but  in the Advertiser 7Feb 1929 the following report was recorded-----

The Minister of Education (Hon. M.
McIntosh) stated on Wednesday that since April, 1927, when the present Government took office, 61 schools had been opened or re-opened and five more schools had been approved, and the completion of them was awaited.
The Government had been concentrating upon giving, as far as possible, equality of opportunity in educational matters, and to that end had concentrated upon the supply of schools and teachers in country districts.
The net results would be that in 66 centres through-out the State facilities for schools would be enjoyed where previously they were denied.

One of these 66 schools was at Woorong Boolong.

Later I was able to find this information as well. The school opened on 30.1.1929 with Winnifred M Wood. It was a cement room joined onto a house owned by Mr. Buckley. Some of the families to attend were: - Suter's, Hodges, Eileen and Doreen Kenny, Pat Kenny's, Wilson's, Riley's, Mort Smith's and Tom Hood's. Teachers were: - 1929 - 1932 Winifred Wood (married Harold Buckley) 1933 Charlotte Wauchope (married K. Scott) 1934 - 1937 Marjorie Gould (married L Hood)
