After searching Singapore for caches for almost a year, we thought it is time to hide our first own cache. So here it is. What would be better than a cache around the corner of our place in this beautiful royal area close to Botanic Gardens.
When approaching to GZ you will notice all the streets around have noble names like Duchess Avenue, Queen’s Road, Coronation Road, Victoria Park Road, Prince Road and finally King’s Road.
They have been named in recognition of the various Royals of the United Kingdom as Singapore was a former British Colony. Based on our research Coronation Road as example commemorates King George V’s coronation in 1911. The current naming would have pleased Arumugam Annamalai who was the former owner of the whole area and fervent royalist.
Take a walk around the area and enjoy the views on some landed houses but also the newly opened D’Leedon.
