Geocache Description:

Easy parking,

Gallon biscotti jug well cammo'ed. Screw top.

PLEASE BE SURE TO SIGN THE YELLOW LOG BOOK AND WATCH OUT FOR MUGGLES ESP THE RESTAURANT OWNER WHO OFTEN COMES OUT THE BACK DOOR LOOKING AROUND. The cache began because once upon a time I found a Flag Geocoin with a note from the parent who placed it saying their son is a flight paramedic in the U.S. Army and who asked that each time the geocoin moved to another location, to please Bless it and send it on its way. I wanted to move it someplace appropriate, thus this geocache was born. The starting items included that original Flag geocoin, a special Coast Guard trackable in honor of my late father , some flag pins, military patches and a FTF, most of which are now elsewhere. People are welcome to add military-related items to trade, but it's not necessary. I go back every couple of weeks and add to the cache, to keep the original theme fresh.

When you go to this spot, please take time to have a good look around the FRONT of the building. This is a small strip mall of sorts, that includes among other things a small coffee shop called The Veterans Cafe (thus the choice for this cache location). A few years ago it used to be located on the property that was once the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base but eventually the cafe moved here to this little strip mall, and is a popular hang out for Veterans and locals alike and is chock filled with military memorabilia - and Vets! Part cafe, part museum (an entire small room is filled with display items, a free lending library and more). You don't have to be a patron to go in and look around. The museum portion is well worth a look and they encourage visitors.

This cache is normally filled with the usual tradeables and more than a dozen patriotic items - flags, flag pins, military patches, and the like.
