Geocache Description:

This should be an easy "park" and grab.  Be wary of muggles; they abound!  I drive past this location almost every day I work and I noticed there was not a cache nearby.   There is now.

There is no need to trample the shrubbery or touch the Historical Marker.

In the early 1770s, Chief White Eyes, (Koquechagachton) of the Delaware tribe founded White Eyes Town approximately 2 miles southest of this location on a plain near present day West Lafayette.  A friend of the Moravian leader David Zeisberger, White Eyes was an ardent supporter of Moravian missionary efforts and kept the Delawares neutral during the American Revolutionary War.  White Eyes' dream was to bring his people under the  influence of Christianity. He also hoped to establish a fourteenth state for the Indian nations, which would join the other thirteen.  White Eyes died at the height of his career in November 1778 near Pittsburgh.  The cause of his death remains open to question.

You are looking for a small bison tube which contains a log.  There may be room for small tradables.  You wil need to bring a writing utensil.  For the FTF there is a small gift.

Congratulations to Biker5009 on the FTF
