The Little Red Hen's New Home

The Little Red Hen is a popular folktale that has been published by many different companies over the years but probably most notably by the Little Golden Book company.

In the story the Little Red Hen is going to do some baking. She asks several of her barnyard friends to help at each stage of preparation but they decline each time. Finally when the baked bread is completed, she asks who will help eat it. All wish to participate, but she refuses them because none assisted in the work. A cute tale with a good moral. 

My love of this tale comes from a 1934 cartoon in the form of a Walt Disney "Silly Symphony" in which one of the lazy barnyard animals is Donald Duck. This is the cartoon he debuted in! It was called "The Wise Little Hen"

Cache is a small container hidden near a pond in Ogletown, Newark, Delaware. It is not far from the corner that was once home to a wonderful little drive up Dairy Queen! Unlike the lazy barnyard animals, I want to help! So, a hint is provided!
