A cache hidden close to Flodden battlefield.
This is the village of Branxton which is where the battle of Flodden was fought on 9th September 1513 between the English and the Scots. It was the largest battle fought between the two kingdoms and was won by the English, King James IV of Scotland lost his life during the battle.
From the car park close by there is a walk around the battlefield and to the memorial with plenty of information boards for further information.
