As the Copper Range Mining Company flourished, so did its developing communities. Although the mines have now closed and some of the communities are no more, the Copper Range Historical Museum lives on to tell this important story. Housed in the former South Range State Bank and dating to the early 1900s, the museum features exhibits that show what life was like for the working class and their families during the mining era. Exhibits change yearly at the museum, a Heritage site of Keweenaw National Historical Park.
