We are having a great deal of fun with the Plague series, and we hope you are, too. We've been told that some are cute, others HUGE, and at least one is "gross", but hey - it's a plague, you know? As for this one - this was probably the hardest one to represent. We hope you'll give us a little lattitude with the whole 'burning hail' thing. We did the best we could.

This is another one of those places that if you weren't going there for a cache, you would never go there, ever. Not that it's that terrible, it's just a little hard to get to. Let us assure you that with reasonable care, it is possible to walk to this remote island-like part of the Big Rib River. You may also choose to go there by boat - that's up to you. But for those in pedestrian mode, park where we tell you to and take the most obvious path to the cache location. Go downhill along the rock spillway and then under the highway. Once you reach actual land on the other side, stick to the north shore as you walk. It's a little tricky in a couple of places, which is why the terrain rating is so high, but mostly it's a fairly pleasant walk. Just be very careful around the rocks, and if you're there in warm months, don't ignore the possibility that there could be bees in the rocks. (You don't have to search in the rocks - just walk over them.) Also - this area is prone to flooding, so if the tree trunks are under water - just turn around and come back another day.
Which brings us to the subject of kids. While your ten-year-old might think this is just all kinds of fun, and will probably beat you to the cache, you six-year-old might have a lot more trouble. Some of those big rocks are loose, and I wouldn't want to take my toddler out there. 'Nuff said.
Keep your eyes open near GZ. You might be able to spot this one from a distance. 
DISCLAIMER: Mrs. RT wants you to know that if it were up to her, she would have selected another corner of the earth to place this thing. Mr. RT really liked how isolated it was. When you see it, you'll know why we needed such an isolated location.
