1 California Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This is my first cache, so I hope you enjoy it! It is small and fairly simple, but be very careful for muggles! This is a popular bus route, but it is easy to use stealth on this one. When you find it, wait and grab it, and please return it to the same location! You can unscrew the cap to get the log sheet, and don't stick the sheet in too far, because some people have had trouble removing it.

In 1912, San Francisco became one of the first cities to open a public streetcar system. From 1912 to 1951, the first few cars were frequently used along the F-Stockton and C-California line. Eventually, the C-California turned into the very popular 1-California that we all love today. Stretching from the depths of town to the high-class living in Seacliff, this bus line is extremely useful for navigating the city and geocaching!
