Original owner turned these over to DocHorrible, who tried to maintain the Trapper Trails Old Juniper Cache to Eagle series. His call for assistance in maintaining this was answered in the Spirit of the Boy Scouts who can continue to enjoy this series as they work their way through the Geocaching Merit Badge and enjoy the fun. To earn the rank of Eagle a Boy Scout must plan and direct the completion of a significant group service project designed to benefit his local community.Cache To Eagle series of geocaches highlights just a few of the many Eagle service projects performed within the communities comprising the Old Juniper District of the Trapper Trails Council. We hope you will visit all 12 geocaches and gain a better appreciation for the thousands of hours of meaningful community service performed each year by local Boy Scouts. North Logan is the home of Troops 10, 42, 81, 98, 317, 335, 349, 351, 353, 360, 366, 368, 390, 413, 514, and 515. The King Nature Park at the mouth of Green Canyon is the site of numerous Eagle service projects performed by Scouts from North Logan. Projects here have included construction of the bulletin board kiosk, building the gravel walking paths, assembly and placement of park benches and picnic tables, construction of pole fences, building the foot bridge at the east end of the fishing pond, and planting many trees. Please take time to walk around the park and see how many of these projects you can find. Special thanks to Chemed2 for retiring one of his favorite King Park caches to make room for us here. The container is a small metallic box wrapped with camouflage tape.You'll need to bring your own pen or pencil to write on the log.
