This Cache is located near the Heritage Park Bus Shelter. This location use to be near the old Coffs Harbour Zoo and with the recent highway upgrade, this newly located local service road was formed and now gives you a lovely view overlooking parts of Heritage Park Estate. This estate use to have a lovely stoned wall entrance too it many years ago, but that was demolished over time and with the recent highway upgrade all evidence was fully removed.
This estate is a semi rural residential subdivision which is surrounded by lovely homes and many kangaroos feeding in their yards. This estate is a busy place at times with tourists visiting the location to take photo’s of kangaroo’s. However, caution is always required, if taking photo’s of the Kangaroo’s as they can be protective at times of their young and/or territory. The last few vacant lots of this subdivision are slowly being built on, but it is still a lovely place to visit and take in some pleasant views. Heritage Park is located between Coffs Harbour and Woolgoolga and is very close to the Moonee Beach Shopping Centre. This cache is a small plastic container and is fairly easy to find too.
