While out caching in this area I came upon the old Highway and decided what a nice little place for a cache, just don't go to far on the road or you might get a little wet since they tore down the old bridge. You can still see some evedence of the old bridge and see the old highway going up the hill on the other side of the road. They relocated the Hghiway around 1956 and abandoned this part of the road. There are some nice trails out here to hike on and a couple caches to grab as well. Just down the river is the falls and old power plant so don't forget to take a camera and snap a few pictures while your down there. During the summer you can enjoy the sun and river to get a tan or cool off in the water. There is parking along the north side of the Highway across from the Cline falls day use area. It is a short walk to the old road and the cache is just down the road. It is a log only cache so don't forget your writing stick to sign it and have a great caching day....
