Geocache Description:

The tenth in a series of Magnetic Nanocaches secreted close to some of the many Metrolink Stations around Manchester. Some of the bigger stations have parking readily available and as such they should make handy 'Cache and Dash' finds.

There is no need for you to physically go onto either platform but it goes without saying, please take care, and be aware of the passing trams and buses.

Metrolink (also known as Manchester Metrolink), is a tram/ light rail system in Greater Manchester. In 2014/15, 31.2 million passenger journeys were made on the system.

The network consists of seven lines which radiate from Manchester to termini at Altrincham, Ashton-under-Lyne, Bury, East Didsbury, Eccles, Manchester Airport and Rochdale. Metrolink has 93 stops along 57 miles (92 km) track making it the largest light railway system in the UK.

The network began operating services between Bury Interchange and Victoria on 6 April 1992.

This cache is a magnetic nano, and as such you will need tweezers and a pen. Please use stealth, the area can get very busy, and there is CCTV. Hopefully the coordinates and the clue will lock you on so that you can be there and gone in a flash. There are 92 Metrolink stations in the network, so if you would like to place a cache to compliment this series, just drop me a line, and I'll let you know what number we are up to !
