This cache is located at the new Folsom Hike and Bike Trail. Doggies are welcome, but remember leash laws are in effect and enforced. The trail is 1.4 miles or 2.8 if you go all the way to the end and want to return to your car (lol). There are benches to rest along the way if you get tired. Trail is open from dawn to dusk since there are not lights available.
This area is also purposed as the Jefferson County Draining District Run-off water retention area. To make this grab, you'll have to meander off the beaten (concrete) path down into the gully area where you can plainly see a large pipe. If you get too hot from your trek you can cool off in the water, but normally there is not but a small stream and you have concrete to walk on down around the pipe. Be safe, area cound have slithering creatures and could be slippery. Also after a huge rain, could be underwater. BYOP
