This set of geocaches is easily accesable by walking, cycling or car. We suggest you park at the local village hall if you choose to walk the route. All caches have parking nearby. The 5 mile route which locals call 'Roon The Bridges' is extremly pictuesque located around the river Esk.
From Benty Bridge 1 keep following road.
As you approach this cache to the right hand side of the road you will see the prehistoric site of Boonies Romano-British Farmstead. Farming people lived and worked here in the first two centuries AD so they were here during the early Roman period.
