Die kleine italienische Kapelle liegt direkt am Weg des Friedens zwischen Kosec und Planina Kuhinja auf der Planina Planica. Man kann von beiden Seiten den Weg des Friedens "Pot Miru" zur Kapelle wandern. Gehzeit ist in etwa 1,5 Std. In eine Richtung.
Die Kapelle wurde im Auftrag von Hauptmann Celestino Bes nach dem ersten Weltkrieg errichtet. Die Eingangsfassade "zieren" stilisierte Gewehre und Granaten, über dem Eingang steht ist die Aufschrift "consolatrix afflictorum" angebracht, welche übersetzt "Trösterin der Betrübten" heißt.
Die Kapelle wurde von der Pot Miru Stiftung 1993-1996 renoviert, wurde aber bei dem Erdbeben 1998 erneut schwer beschädigt und wurde 2003 neuerlich renoviert.
Von der Kapelle hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf das Socatal und die umliegenden Berge (Matajur, Stol und das Krn-Gebirge) Ich würde mich über Panoramafotos zu den Logs sehr freuen.

The little Chapel is between Kosec and Planina Kuhinja on The Walk of Peace located on Planina planica. The hike from each side is one and an half Hour in one Direktion.
Captain Celestino Bes ordered this Chapel for The died soldiers After WW1, in Front of The Chapel you can see guns and granates in the wall.
The Chapel was renovated 1993-1996 from the "Pot Miru" Association and the Earthquakes 1998 destroyed the Chapel again. In the year 2003 was the last renovation till today.
From the Chapel you have a nice view to the surrounding mountains (Matajur, Stol, Krn and Socatal-Valley) Please put panoramapics to your log, i will be happy about it.
