Geocache Description:

If one journeys into this woods, and squints through all the buckthorn, they will see a glimpse into primeval Plymouth. This area has changed drastically since it was settled. Before settlement, this patch of woods was likely an Oak Savannah, an island of prairie grass and ancient Oaks carved into the seemingly endless forest by seasonal fire. As this area of Plymouth was settled, this parcel became graze land. In the last ten years, this area has really begun to develop and much of the forested land was cleared, but this section remains as public land. Through all the buckthorn, and especially where the buckthorn clears out near the gun club land, one can see some of the finest old trees in the city.

The cache is a large jar with plenty of tradeables. Approach from the South on Kimberly Ln N to avoid crossing private property. Please return the cache back to its hiding space when you are done. Thanks for finding!
