I placed my cache over the Easter holiday break, so aptly named it “White Rabbit.” I chose this song after seeing a featurette on the Grammys recently revealing that pop singer, Pink, would be covering the Jefferson Airplane acid rock classic, “White Rabbit” in the new Disney movie due out on May 27th, Alice Through the Looking Glass. Pink does a nice rendition of it. Check out the related web page.
“White Rabbit” was written and performed by Grace Slick while she was still with the band, The Great Society. When that band broke up in 1966, Slick was invited to join Jefferson Airplane. Her first album recorded with Jefferson Airplane was Surrealistic Pillow, and Slick provided 2 songs from her previous group: “White Rabbit” and "Somebody to Love.”
You are looking for a regular sized container hidden along a trail near the corner of High St. and Valentown Rd. in Victor, NY. The cache is starting off with a logbook, pencil and some swag. There is a small creek that you will need to walk/hop across, so bring appropriate footwear.
