How to play KenKen:

1. The numbers to use in this puzzle are 1 to 6.
2. The heavily-outlined groups of squares within each grid are called "cages." In the upper left corner of each cage, you will find a "target number" and a math operation (this puzzle is only addition).
3. Fill in each square with a number. The numbers you put in each cage must combine (in any order) to produce the "target number" for that cage, using the math operation (addition) next to the "target number."
4. You may not repeat numbers in any individual row or column. For example, in a 4x4 grid, each column and each row should be filled in with the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4, with no duplication. You can repeat a number within a cage only as long as those repeated numbers are not in the same row or column.
5. There is only one solution to each KenKen puzzle.
