This cache was originally placed by blissbaby at my suggestion when she was teaching me about geocaching and we had done the two caches in Pitt Park now sadly archived. The Wentworth Falls School of Arts is a multi purpose facility used for performances, markets, workshops, classes and by interest groups.
Designed by James Dennis and constructed in 1914/15 the Wentworth Falls School of Arts is an interesting building (see https://tinyurl.com/GC6EYHS).
Located within easy walking distance of the Wentworth Falls village this restored historic building provides a unique atmosphere making it ideal for a diverse range of activities.
The theatre with its tea/coffee making facility, retractable seating, stage, dressing rooms, ticket sales counter, piano and access to P/A system and lighting desk on request is ideal for concerts, plays, recitals, seminars and exhibitions whilst the centre room with its supper area and domestic kitchen are perfect for small group activities such as meetings and workshops. It also currently houses the Wentworth Falls branch of the Blue Mountains Library.
